Golf Teacher Insurance

Insurance for golf teachers and teaching professionals — what facilities require and how to quote in real time.

What this coverage is intended to address

Important: Coverage terms, eligibility, and pricing are determined by the carrier and vary by state and individual circumstance. The information on this page is general and educational — nothing here implies, affords, or offers any specific insurance coverage. Review the actual policy form and consult a licensed insurance professional before binding.

Coverage products commonly considered

Most golf teacher operations consider one or more of these coverage types:

General Liability
Professional Liability / E&O
Inland Marine (Equipment)

Hypothetical claim scenarios

These are hypothetical examples only. Actual coverage depends on the policy form, exclusions, and carrier determination.

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't the course or range insure its teaching pros?

Facility policies are generally intended to protect the facility. Independent teaching professionals — including PGA and LPGA members teaching as contractors — typically need their own general liability and professional liability / E&O coverage.

Does golf teaching insurance cover junior clinics and camps?

Youth programs are commonly insurable but get extra underwriting attention; programs serving minors may also need a sexual abuse and molestation (SAM) endorsement, which many host facilities require. Disclose all junior programming.

What about indoor simulator lessons?

Indoor teaching at a simulator facility is usually within scope when disclosed, but the facility may carry separate requirements. If you own the simulator, ask about equipment coverage as well.
