1. What We Collect

Everyone who submits a form gives us contact information: name, email, phone and address, plus the business or property the request is about.

Beyond that, what we ask for depends on the type of quote. Each form asks only what an underwriter needs for that coverage, so the questions differ a great deal between them. Depending on which one you fill in, that can include:

• Business and risk detail — entity type, years in business, revenue or payroll, employee and subcontractor counts, licences held, and prior claims
• Commercial auto — for each driver: name, date of birth, gender, marital status, driver's licence number and state, and counts of DUIs, tickets or accidents
• Life insurance — age, and whether you use tobacco or nicotine. You may also choose to tell us why you were previously declined
• Child care and youth programs — numbers of children by age group, staffing, background-check practices, and any prior allegations
• Property and land — addresses, building detail, occupancy, and how land is used
• Health-adjacent businesses — licence type, services offered, and supervision arrangements

We ask for this because the insurance market does. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details or payment information anywhere on this site, and no form here accepts a file upload.

When you visit the site, we may collect basic technical information (IP address, browser, referring page) for security and analytics purposes. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, configured so that your IP address is anonymized. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording, or any tool that captures what you type into a form. Analytics is on by default and you can turn it off below.

• Process your insurance quote or service request
• Match you with licensed insurance agents, brokers, or carriers who can serve your needs
• Send you transactional emails, SMS, or calls regarding your request
• Improve site performance and content
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Who We Share It With

We use what you send us for two purposes: to keep you updated about your request, and to pass it to insurance underwriters, insurance companies, surety companies and other related parties for the purpose of obtaining a quote.

We also use technology vendors to run the site and deliver those messages — email delivery, analytics, and the systems that hold a submission while it is being worked — under appropriate confidentiality terms.

We do not sell your personal information for advertising purposes.

4. Your Choices

• Opt out of communications: Reply STOP to any SMS, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
• California & other state privacy rights: You may request access, deletion, or correction by emailing privacy@runquotes.com.
• Do Not Sell My Info: Submit a request at /do-not-sell.
• Analytics: Analytics runs by default. Use the control below to turn it off on this browser.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and at rest. We restrict access to submission data on a need-to-know basis among our staff and approved partners.

6. Data Retention

We retain submission data for as long as needed to service your request and as required for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.

7. Children

This site is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. International Users

RunQuotes is intended for U.S. residents only.
